Condé Nast Traveler: Reimagining a legacy travel brand for digital

Problem: Condé Nast Traveler's digital experience wasn't living up to the iconic brand. The site needed a refreshed look and feel for elevated travel inspiration, a more useful architecture built around destination guides and search, and new monetization paths through custom ad products and affiliate booking.

Role: Product Designer — competitive research, systems design, wireframing, user testing, interaction design, prototyping, visual design, QA, and stakeholder management.

Team: Product Designers, Engineers, Product Managers, Editors

Outcome: A redesigned digital experience spanning venue pages, gallery and long-form content templates, a map ecosystem, sponsored content templates, and a component card system — laying the foundation for a more useful, monetizable platform.

The work touched everything from site architecture to interaction design to ad product strategy. Below is a selection of key outputs from across the project.
