Condé Nast Traveler: Reimagining a legacy travel brand for digital

Problem: Condé Nast Traveler was evolving its digital presence to better support destination discovery, editorial storytelling, and new monetization opportunities across travel content and affiliate booking experiences. The existing platform struggled to balance editorial storytelling, destination discovery, monetization, and modern user expectations across a large-scale content ecosystem.

Role: Product Designer — I contributed to redesign efforts spanning site architecture, destination experiences, editorial workflows, and advertising integrations — helping modernize the brand’s digital ecosystem while preserving the editorial identity Condé Nast Traveler was known for.

Team: Product Designers, Engineers, Product Managers, Editors

Outcome: Helped modernize Condé Nast Traveler’s digital experience through improved navigation, streamlined destination exploration, and new monetization opportunities tied to affiliate booking and advertising products.

The redesign focused on creating a more navigable, visually immersive, and commercially sustainable travel experience while maintaining the brand’s editorial voice and visual sophistication.
